Welcome to the newly redesigned DBM web site, which introduces user-centric navigation and submenus for our customers – Agencies, Job Seekers, State Employees, Contractors and the Public. Each customer channel provides quick access from the home page to the most widely used information for each specific area. For example, State Employees can now link directly to Forms, Health Benefits, Leave, Personnel Officers, Policies and Salary Information directly from the home page. As an alternative, a direct link to the State Employees page provides a full array of employee resources. Each customer area provides a horizontal navigation bar to link to Home or to any one of the five customer channels as well as left menu local navigation. Be sure to check out the Home menu for a Forms index, How Do I… list and a Site Map. The News & Features area on the home page displays links and information to timely news and events.
The new Google Search engine provides another way to quickly locate relevant information. The default search collection from within dbm.maryland.gov provides DBM agency-specific information in the left column and statewide results in the right column. A drop-down box also allows users to search by agency, statewide or counties using the new search.maryland.gov site.
The DBM web site was designed according to the statewide redesign guidelines for common look and functionality using Maryland branding elements as well as non-visual accessibility standards.
The launch of the new DBM web site is intended to present information in a way to better serve our customers. We hope this web site is useful and that you will contact us at marylandgov@dbm.state.md.us so that we may provide ongoing improvement to the services and information available. Thank you.
