SALARY: $26,783 - 41,816

POSITION DUTIES: Carpenter, Trim is the advanced level of work in woodworking involving precision cutting, fitting and finishing of wood.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Each candidate must have:

EDUCATION: Completed the eighth grade.

EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in carpentry, two years of which must have been in finish or trim carpentry work or in cabinetmaking.

NOTES: Applicants may substitute additional experience at a rate of one year for two years of required education for up to four years. A degree from an accredited vocational\technical high school with a major in carpentry or a related field may be substituted for three years of the required general experience.

Successful candidates will be placed on the employment list categorized as BEST QUALIFIED, BETTER QUALIFIED, OR QUALIFIED. The list will be used by the hiring agency to select employees.
