Emergency Mortgage Assistance (EMA) Program -  The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) has received funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through their Emergency Homeowner Loan Program. The EMA Program is designed to assist homeowners who are facing foreclosure due to involuntary unemployment or loss of significant income.
