The Procurement Unit validates the proper application of State procurement laws and regulations and the use of prudent business practices by Executive Branch agencies for the proper acquisition of services. We provide advice, guidance, and assistance to Executive Branch agencies, the Secretary of Budget and Management, and the Board of Public Works for the cost effective and efficient procurement of services. We also achieve economies of scale by procuring selected services for use by all State agencies.
