The Division of Procurement Policy and Administration implements the Department’s Minority Business Enterprise initiatives, provides centralized review and approval or rejection of procurements for services submitted by Executive State agencies; procurement of services for statewide use; and internal support for all DBM procurements. The Division also offers policy and procedural direction and contract management services that ensure effective and efficient statewide fleet operations and provides an efficient and economic way for State employees to conduct State travel business. Additionally, the Division provides statewide compliance oversight on certain audits.

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources.
