Federal Workers Hiring Initiative
Federal workers have years of expertise and knowledge that are an asset to our state. The Moore-Miller Administration is committed to making it possible for public servants who raised their hand to serve our country to stay in Maryland.
On February 28th, Governor Moore announced an initiative to help streamline hiring into critical and hard-to-fill positions for Marylanders impacted by changes to the federal workforce. As part of this, four areas were opened for a streamlined hiring process – for procurement professionals, HR professionals, accountants, and fiscal accounts technicians. This first wave of job postings was recently closed, but more opportunities will be posted on a rolling basis – so please stay tuned to this page and check back to see new streamlined hiring opportunities as they become available.
In the meantime, if you are interested in continuing your public service in a new way, please see the full list of regular positions on our Online Employment Center website.
