Understanding Direct Pay and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA)

This presents both opportunities and complexities for local governments, requiring a strategic understanding of its provisions and implementation pathways. To assist municipal leaders and decision-makers in navigating the OBBBA framework effectively, we have developed a high-level guidance document which outlines key requirements, timelines and actionable steps to support municipalities in aligning with the Act's objectives.
