Helpful Tips When Calling Via Benefits
You may experience wait times during Medicare’s open enrollment period. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your time and connect with a benefit advisor licensed in your state.
To prioritize your call, please:
- Verify your identity by entering the last four digits of your social security number, your zip code, and date of birth when prompted
- If you don’t have an appointment, use the call-me-back feature to secure your place in line. Or consider enrolling online. It’s secure and faster than calling.
Please avoid:
- Hanging up and trying later; this will cause you to lose your place in line, and when you call back, you’ll be placed at the back of the line.
- Pressing # or 0; this will also cause you to lose your place in line and may result in your call not being answered by a benefit advisor licensed in your state.
