State employee​s are receiving wage increases including,
​COLAS, increments and bonuses!!!!


C​ost-of-Living Adjustments (COLAs)

1. Effective January 1, 2022, State regular and contractual employees will receive a 1% COLA.
2. Effective July 1, 2022, State regular and contractual employees will receive a 3% COLA.
3. Effective July 1, 2023, State regular and contractual employees will receive a 2% COLA.


Within Grade Increases

1. State regular employees who were otherwise eligible to receive a within grade increase (an “increment”) on January 1, 2021, or July 1, 2021, but did not receive an increment due to budgetary constraints, will receive an increment effective January 1, 2022. Contractual employees also will receive an increment effective January 1, 2022.

2. In Fiscal Year 2023, State regular employees who are otherwise eligible will receive an increment on July 1, 2022, or January 1, 2023, based on the employee’s entry-on-duty date. In Fiscal Year 2023, in keeping with the usual practice, contractuals may receive an increment at the employing agency’s discretion.

Bonuses
1. Effective January 1, 2022, State regular and contractual employees will receive a $1,000 bonus.​
2. Also, effective January 1, 2022, State regular and contractual employees will receive a $500 bonus.

​Exceptions
Very few agencies have sworn law enforcement personnel or fire fighters but be advised that the wage enhancements detailed here do not apply to these groups of employees. Further, if your agency participates in collective bargaining, be advised that the ratification process is not complete for bargaining units A, B, C, D, F, and H. Therefore, these wage enhancements​ do not apply to employees in these bargaining units.
